If you loved the fit of the Superblast 2, good news—the upper remains unchanged. The breathable design continues to provide a lightweight, secure feel that disappears on foot while keeping your stride comfortable through long miles and faster efforts.
New Foam, Bigger Bounce
The biggest update happens underfoot.
The top layer of the midsole now features FF LEAP, ASICS’ lightest and most energetic foam yet. This new foam enhances the lively feel that Superblast runners already love while helping shave weight off the shoe.
Below it sits FF BLAST+, creating a dual-layer cushioning system that blends softness, rebound, and long-distance comfort.
The Superblast 3 also introduces a new trampoline pod, designed to amplify energy return and create a springier toe-off. Combined with the increased stack height, the ride feels even more dynamic and protective.
